Pontiacs playing old The Clash classic..damn Osiris that looks fun. Pretty rare video too, I mean for Benzie to cover someone else..and for Terui to use the mic other than his occasional 'warcry' in BJC. You can tell the crowd's surprised reaction when he started singing. Pretty sweet..next he's just gotta lose that stupid beret and stop hiding all that awesome inks on his body..

Stupid laptop broke down on me..again.. its that same resource conflict, PCI error shit I had for a while. Although before it takes 4-5 try to start it, yesterday I had spent the whole day switching on/manually restart that piece of junk just to see that windows XP startup screen, that stupid bar with 3 blue lines in it, going left to right.....for FUCKING ETERNITY! 

 This shit had happened before, 4-5 months back but went miraculously fine the next day. I think its fucked up for real now. Hardware problem, no doubt about it. 5 years of daily abuse could do that to any laptop i guess. Damn..5 gadget years, i bet if you try to convert it, must be equivalent to at least 50 human years-you know,with the hourly updates of new technologies and hardwares and stuff. Even human dont evolve as fast as that. Sometime I cant help but imagined in year 2080 a metallic hobo, with rust all over his face and faulty mechanisms behind his beat up rag, drinking cheap, secondhand oil in some dark alley somewhere and whistling Tom Waits tune.

Tom Waits tune are immortal-its a well known rumor, dont you know?

...looking back, that old soldier had accompanied me through a lot. All that countless, bloody missions to save the world and the much dreaded 'Game Over, Continue?' screen, all that First Bloods and mmmmmonster kills, all that movies and mangas and Javs, all that Guitar Pros and mp3s and PDFs..thank osiris i saved them all in my HDD.

Though the impulse to use that laptop as a karate practice board is as strong as this mad desire to frisbee it onto this nearby river and see how many time i can make it bounce, i must refrain with sronger mental control backed by pure logical reasoning. I cant afford a new laptop now, my pocket is filled with a negative figure so big its almost a black hole. The only option left is begging my parent for a new one while hoping a miracle the laptop would resurrect itself again like that one time.
But could a miracle happen twice?


Edit: Its final. The laptop is...dead. At least I had the satisfaction of killing it my damn self. You should had seen all that blood..hehehe..Jack the Ripper would be proud, man

Fish Story

“Fish Story” centre around a rock band from 1975 who decide to break up having had no success, they record one last song before the band splits up. Decades later that song will have a profound effect on peoples lives, eventually becoming the savior of the world."


After reading that little summary I knew I got to watch this movie. 112 wonderful minutes later- and one of the most brilliant ending I ever watched- I was smiling so hard my face hurts. It is one of those movies that after you watched it, your soul wont rest peacefully until you tell someone, or the worst case event, force someone, to watch it.

In a nutshell, it is a story of the last song of a proto-punk band that disbanded in 1975(a year before Sex Pistols-mania) and how it started a chain of event involving an urban legend, a champion of justice, a band of mad preachers, Nostradamus prophecies, badly translated novel and saving the world from Mayan's 2012 theories.

The aforementioned song, also titled 'Fish Story', is quite good. It was written by Kazuyoshi Saito and performed by the actors playing the band.

I had been hunting for the OST with no success but you could download the mp3 from the youtube video. The download link for the movie..I'm gonna introduce you guys to this site I like. I dont feel good stealing people's link, so I'm just gonna point you to them. Its a free site of course, with tons of Asians movies/dramas from Japan, Korean, Hong Kong. They got everything from Yakuza movies to pinku/cat III- you name it, they (probably) got it.

Jude-KiKi

Just stumbled upon this awesome song from Asai Kenichi's band Jude. That piano bit from Qumico Fucci at the opening is just killer man! There are reasons why she is Asai's main keyboardist for so many songs, her creativity with melody is borderline genius.

At first I felt weird for not recognizing this song, because I had in my possession all Jude's albums. Then I remember one of Asai's trick-he likes to hide a few of his gems in small singles. For example; let see.. in BJC we got the Pepin single which include-Pepin, I love Tokyo and Cosmos. This 3 songs, powerful enough to be  chart-toppers, stay hidden without any album treatment save Pepin with its PV.

But if we think the other way  maybe he got so many song in his head he wont bother to release a song twice like many other artist-you know, the "single" version and the "album" version. A shame though, for casual listener wont hunt for the singles as the die hard fans would. So in a word, these hidden gems is probably Asai's secret gifts for his hardcore fans/collectors.
